As of today, Google releases a new update for its Messages app, on Android, which now allows sending messages from the computer.
All you have to do is go to the Messaging site and scan the QR code to link your mobile device with your PC, very similar to WhatsApp Web.
If you still do not see the update, do not worry, since Google indicated that it will arrive to all its users throughout the week.
Along with this new option, the Internet giant also announced other functions for Messaging, such as a new button for searching GIFs, expanding smart responses with more operators and previewing links.
This is one of the first steps of Google towards Chat, that is, the evolution of Messages that will enhance the standard known as Rich Communications Services or RCS, which would allow users to create group conversations, see indicators when someone is writing or when has received and read a message, and share photos and videos in high resolution.
Thus, with the collaboration of different operators, Google seeks a space in instant messaging, a segment dominated by WhatsApp, which announces constant improvements for its application.
