Hummingbirds fly like that
Hummingbirds fly like that

It is due to its muscular power and the size of its wings

Although they are the smallest birds, hummingbirds are known for their great ability to fly. They move their wings at great speeds that are almost invisible, and they can remain in the air at a fixed point and fly backwards!

Recently, Canadian and German researchers studied thousands of accelerations, rotations and turns of more than 200 hummingbirds of 25 different species, in their habitats in South and Central America.

The researchers concluded that these birds can do this thanks to their muscular power, the size of their wings and great ability.

Did you know that they can move their wings more than 30 times per second?
