His name is Lahuan (grandfather) and he’s 2,600 years old!

It is located in Los Alerces National Park, in the province of Chubut, Argentina.

The specialists calculated the age of this Lahuan by the rings that it has in its trunk.

Each year, two new rings appear, one in spring and one in autumn.

This specimen is 60 meters high and 2.20 meters in diameter; is part of the Los Alerces National Park, which was declared by Unesco? World Heritage Site? in July of 2017.
