The American actress of Latin origin Selena Gomez is filming in New York a film of zombies under the direction of director Jim Jarmusch, of which until now the name is unknown.
Although the beginning of the shooting had not been officially announced, the American celebrity news portal Just Jared and the British newspaper Daily Mail published several images in which Gómez appears on the set and with the bloody T-shirt next to Jarmusch.
The film, with no confirmed title, also counts in its cast with Bill Murray and Adam Driver.
Jarmusch, a very prestigious filmmaker within the independent circuit, had already worked with Murray in Coffee and Cigarettes (2003) and in Broken Flowers (2005).
For his part, Driver starred in Paterson (2016), the latest Jarmusch tape to date.
Gomez, who has tried to combine her career as an actress with her career as a singer, premieres this weekend the animated film Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, in which she lends her voice to the character of Mavis.
After becoming a teen star in the hand of Disney, the Latin changed completely registration with the film Spring Breakers (2012), which directed Harmony Korine.
The artist, who has nearly 139 million followers on Instagram, recently produced the controversial 13th Reasons Why series on the Netflix digital platform about teen suicides.
Gomez also has the premiere of the film A Rainy Day in New York, directed and written by Woody Allen.
