Vivo presents us with a new mid-range device, the Vivo Z10, with some peculiar characteristics. On the one hand we think an interesting mobile, with good design and good specifications but on the other hand it completely throws us back the fact that we still have to see how in full 2018 are still presenting smartphones with Android 7.1 Nougat, a version that is about to meet almost two years.
The Vivo Z10 is a modification of the Vivo 7+, a midrange with a six-inch screen in 18: 9 format and a 24-megapixel front camera to capture high-resolution selfies. Let’s see what it offers us and get to know closely the proposal of Chinese manufacturers in the mid-range.

Betting on screen and front camera
The Vivo Z10 is a mobile that introduces an 18: 9 panel of 5.99 inches with HD + resolution. It is a mobile of a generous size but the resolution makes us glimpse that we are facing a device with a reasonable price.
Inside confirms this idea with the commitment to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 with 4GB of RAM. An interesting combination since the Qualcomm chip is economical but quite efficient but usually comes with 3GB. For storage we have 32GB that will be expandable through microSD. A fair amount of memory.
Through the microUSB port we will charge your 3,225 mAh battery. Quantity on the line with what is usually seen in mobiles of this size.
For the back we have a 16 megapixel camera under an aperture lens f / 2.0 and an Ultra HD mode capable of making 64 megapixel photos by combining several images.
However, it is the 24 megapixel front camera that is striking. The Vivo Z10 is one of those devices that are leading the megapixel race in the front. Although this does not assure us that they will really come out much better than their competition. We will have LED flash to improve them in night scenes and we will also have facial unlocking .
Android 7.1 Nougat is the version that is added in this Vivo Z10. An inexplicable choice considering the moment we are, where Android 8.0 Oreo is very widespread and we are almost at the door of knowing the next version.
Versions and price of Vivo Z10
The Vivo Z10 is available in India to buy in black, blue and gold at a price that is expected to be lower than the 21,990 rupees of Vivo V7 + slightly higher. That is, we would be talking about a terminal with a price below three hundred euros. Difficult to compete like this from Vivo, at least in markets where there are much better alternatives for similar prices.
