Succeeding S’mores

S’more is a typical American dessert that is traditionally eaten around a campfire. It is made of grilled marshmallow and milk chocolate between two graham crackers.

Ingredients for 4 persons
  • 4 Graham cookies, broken in half
  • 2 bars of HERSHEY’S ® 45 g milk chocolate, broken in half
  • 4 large marshmallows
S’mores on the campfire
  • Place ½ bar of HERSHEY’S ® 45 g milk chocolate on one half Graham biscuit.
  • Carefully roast a marshmallow over a grill or campfire (supervise children if they are the ones doing it).
  • Place on the chocolate. Put the second graham cracker on top and gently squeeze together.
S’mores in the microwave
  • Place ½ bar of HERSHEY’S ® 45 g milk chocolate on one half Graham biscuit.
  • Put a big marshmallow on the chocolate.
  • Place on a microwave-safe plate.
  • Microwave until marshmallow has doubled in size (10 to 15 seconds).
  • Remove from the microwave and place the second half of Graham Cracker on top by gently squeezing.

Note that the microwaved S’mores are very hot and require a little time to cool down.

S’mores grilled on the BBQ
  • Arrange ½ bar of HERSHEY’S ® 45 g milk chocolate on one half Graham biscuit.
  • Add on top a large marshmallow, then the other half of the Graham biscuit.
  • Wrap the S’mores in aluminum foil.
  • Grill on medium-high heat for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Let cool for two minutes. Watch out for heat by opening the foil.
