The end is near.
The seventh season of Game of Thrones possibly, if everything goes well and there are no problems, is less than a year from being released.
Casey Bloys, President of HBO Programming, spoke with reporters during the HBO summer press tour on Wednesday and offered some updates on various shows of the network, including our beloved Game of Thrones.
Although Bloys could not say much about the final season, he could give us a vague idea of when it might be released: “sometime in 2019” and in the “first half”.
That’s good to know!
Bloys also talked about the Game of Thrones prequels . Originally five were ordered, but currently only one is being developed with the script of a pilot written by Jane Goldman. They are currently looking for a director, and they hope to start recording the prequel at the beginning of 2019.
Meanwhile, the stars of Game of Thrones have been saying goodbye little by little to the series, with exciting messages or some permanent ink. So he did Emilia Clarke, who said goodbye to her house far from her house, where for years she recorded GOT. Masie Williams and Sophie Turner, who has made tattoos in honor of his characters and the show.
