A woman has been accused of 11 serious crimes derived from the email piracy of Selena Gomez and one of the singer’s associates. Los Angeles County prosecutors said Friday that Susan Antrach, 21, of Ridgefield Park, NJ, has been charged with five counts of identity theft, five counts of fraud and one charge of accessing and using data without permission. The charges are felonies that collectively could lead to almost 10 years in prison. Prosecutors contend that Antrach repeatedly accessed the accounts of Gomez and the unnamed partner of 25 years in 2015 and 2016, and also published private media accounts online.
Antrach has not filed a guilty plea. Prosecutors did not know if she had hired a lawyer who could comment, and no phone number could be found for her.
