Google has just made official the deployment of version 8 of Android, commercially known as Android Oreo, which can be downloaded from this moment for the Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player, Pixel, Pixel XL and Pixel C to be find enrolled in the Android beta program.
Either way, the company has announced in a statement that the OTA update is ready and will arrive very soon for all users who have any of these phones but are not subscribed to the betas program.
On the other hand, brands such as Essential, General Mobile and Nokia have been working closely with Google to release the latest Android update on their devices.
In the case of Essential, the new brand of the creator of Android, it is known that it will have updates guaranteed for two years after the team is put on sale, so Andy Rubin has wanted to offer its customers the same lifetime offered by Google with its Pixel.
On the other hand, Nokia has made it clear that Nokia 6, 5 and 8 will update Android Oreo as soon as the final version is available, so it is not expected that in the coming days this brand will be the first to update its devices after Google.
Regarding the Nokia 3, HMD Global has also promised the update to Android Oreo, however, this will take more time because several adjustments must be made in the MediaTek processor, but they assure users that they will arrive before the end of the year.

LG, Motorola, Sony and Samsung … the big questions
Android Oreo will also reach the devices of these brands, in fact Google has confirmed that they have worked with these manufacturers so that Android O can be launched on as many devices as possible, however, we do not know for sure which phones, or when they will receive the new version of Android.
Unfortunately, the update process in these manufacturers is very slow, and although Motorola has the advantage of offering almost Pure Android, the brand has stopped updating its equipment as soon as it did before, so surely some of these phones receive Android Oreo until the beginning of 2018; one more problem of fragmentation in Android.
What is a fact, is that all these brands will update their latest phones to Android O, as is the case of: Galaxy S8 and S8 +, LG G6, LG V20, Moto Z2 Play, Moto Z2 Force, Sony Xperia XZ, Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XA1 Ultra, Huawei Mate 9, Huawei P10, etc.
It is possible that some of the models of medium and high-end range also receive their update of Android O, the problem is that the new version of Android P may arrive first, before these are updated to Android O.
We will be on the lookout for official announcements from the companies to let them know the update dates of their devices.
